Training management for training provider
Learning Management System cimoio as training management tool for training provider. Our customers, who describe themselves as training providers, sell trainings as a core process. The characteristics of this core process reach from the design of the training products to the provision of an event as an appointment. All this including the allocation of the necessary resources such as rooms, trainers and equipment. It continues with management of the bookings and the billing, which is at the center of the company’s business process. Our customer base ranges from departments in a company to entire companies that have no other processes than educational sales.
Special challenges in training management for training providers
In the domain of training providers, one of the challenges is the well-arranged presentation of their training portfolio. Since that portfolio is often very large and – depending on the orientation – can be very diverse, it is important to categorize trainings and provide a good search with filters.
The goal is to offer customers the contents that are interesting for them – despite size and diversity of the portfolio. Therefore, with the necessary database, additional functionalities like target group filtering can be used.
An additional challenges is the provision of the content for other external training providers. An example for that is kursnet of the German job center (Agentur für Arbeit), for which we have already created interfaces.
