When the project started in 2001, the Sparkassenakademie needed a digital solution to manage its two training locations in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg. Then in 2014, when the locations merged at Pariser Platz in Stuttgart, the academy decided to manage much of the technical integration with cimoio.<\/p>\n

With the move from the two old locations to Stuttgart, the academy aimed not only to relocate to the state capital but also to modernize and digitalize its technical equipment. Therefore, the old software landscape needed replacement with a lean and fully integrated system. At the same time, the software solution and service provider had to ensure integration of training and event management with hotel administration, as well as deep integration into media and building technology.<\/p>\n

The more than two decades of cooperation between STL GmbH and the Sparkassenakademie allowed STL GmbH to gradually expand cimoio for the academy. This experience perfectly prepared the team to link cimoio to the academy\u2019s hardware and software solutions via interfaces<\/a> when the move made it necessary.<\/p>\n

Already at the start, the first elements for media control and hotel administration were in place. Thanks to the project team\u2019s commitment, a large part of the administrative control at the Sparkassenakademie is now handled with a single software solution. This includes programming key cards for hotel rooms and conference rooms, connecting barcode scanners in the academy restaurant, and providing media for events on multimedia boards in the event rooms.<\/p>\n
